Katrín holds a master’s degree in Icelandic literature from the University of Iceland (2004). She has had a long and successful career in politics, having held numerous positions and served on countless boards and committees of various public institutions and organizations, both in Iceland and internationally. In addition, Katrín is an accomplished author and has occasionally taught at various educational levels.
